Rip-off fradulent collection agency

I too received a collection notice saying I owed 7.04 from
Business Office Systems and Solutions. Apparently the client was Mapnad Viatel Cons. I tried calling the number
listed on the notice and can never reach anyone. The 800 number works but gets you nowehere. There is a (915) number on the letter that is not a real number. Nor is the (432) number listed on their website real. On top of the letter it says "Serviced by Experian" which also seems to be something to make you believe this is a real notice — its too bad I can't contact Experian directly either.

I will be going to the local BBB and police to seek help and placing an alert on with all three credit services. If anyone gets similar mailings please encourage them to write them in here. It is critical so that we avoid such scams!
