I received a phone call that offered me a credit card. There was a long script and they told me the price of the card, but that I would receive the $200 cost of the card in free merchandise. I was asked to give them my bank account number and a date for accessing my account, but I would receive the card and merchandise for approval and decide whether I wanted to keep it. Several weeks passed. The card did not come. When I tried to call the number they gave me, all I got was a recording and no answer. This went on for about a week.in the mean time, they debited my account. I continually tried to contact them. No answer. The bank was not able to help me because there was no information to trace where the $200 had gone. I eventually got in touch with the Capital Credit Alliance (CCA), they informed me that I could not get my money back because the fine print stated that. I had not seen that nor had I heard that over the phone during our initial conversation. They told me I now have to take the card, and they are attaching another $150 fee for hidden charges. A total of $350 so far and no card or merchandise. I spoke with "Mario" the supervisor of this "bogus" company. My bank said they could possibly continue to debit account. I will have to change my account number. I am so very hurt and disappointed at the loss of such a large sum of money by scam artist over the telephone. When I did speak with the company, the operator who I spoke with was being coached by someone in the background. I could hear him telling her what to say. When I asked who the person was who was doing the coaching, she said it is my supervisor and I just started on this job, and I am not sure how to answer all of your questions. I want my money back and these people caught and put in jail for taking advantage of innocent consumers. Vengence is the Lord's and they will quickly come down. The Lord says He will repay.
