Credit Solutions Of America - CSA ripoff debt settlement service Addison Texas
CSA, located in TX, does not know all the credit laws for all the states despite what they tell you. They collected approximately $350 from me each month. They were to contact my creditors and negotiate settlement amounts. Granted, one account was settled but apparently, not the most important one.
I had a checking account with HSBC as well as a credit card with HSBC. They had me change my checking account to another bank stating that a creditor won't go after my account unless it is with their bank. WRONG!!!
I listened to them and ended up with a judgment against my home and my checking accounts (any and all of them no matter what bank they were at) frozen. I contacted CSA and they were floored. They said that the creditors can't do that. WRONG!!! The creditors can do that and did do that.
Despite the pleas of CSA, I finally sought the advice of a local attorney. He advised I file bankruptcy. CSA did not want me to file bankruptcy. Yeah, because they wanted me to keep paying them and they didn't do anything to earn the money.
