I had a solictor call me with an offer for a credit card to help rebuild my credit. The card was supposed to have a two thousand dollar limit. They took two hundred dollars out of my checking account and were going to send me 4 $50.00 dollar coupons to use towards making my payments.
Therefor my first payments would be on time. They sent me a guranteed acceptance certificate in the mail and wanted me to sign and return. Then they would send me my card. Thats when i read that it was a catolog credit card. If i had signed the acceptance letter and sent it back i would have been agreeing for them to take out several diffrent fees out of my account.
The phone number and name of the man i spoked to was not a legitemet name or #. I wrote the company and told them i was mislead on this credit card and was not intrested and to please debit the two hundred dollars back in to my account.
That was over a month ago, havent heard a word. Tried the phone # several times but nothing. Looks like Finacial Advisors & Associates has ripped off a lot of people.
