At the end of January I received a phone call from Dorran Clark regarding obtaining a Master Card. Mr. Clark did NOT tell me it was for a secured card but he told me I could use it all over the world wherever Master Card is accepted.
Mr. Clark then told me the only thing I would need to have is a Checking account, which I told him I did and he then said that all I would have to do is allow $299.95 to be withdrawn from my account, his company would send me some paperwork and after I get the paperwork to sign it and send it back and they would issue me a Master Card.
Yes I fell for it and allowed the $299.95 to be withdrawn from my checking account and then the nightmare started. I waited two weeks before calling just to be sure to give the postal mail time, after the second week I called the number he gave to me and come to find out it was for customer service. The checked my phone number and told me the package has been mailed. I waited another week, after that I called again, the same thing.
By the end of March I called and spoke with a customer representive and she told me her computer records show that the package has been mailed to me and I should have it. I told her I did not and then asked why did they have to pull monies from my account anyway. Her response to me was for the package that their company is offering. I asked her what it was and she told me for a "CELL PHONE", "LIFE INSURANCE", "SOMETHING ELSI". I told her I was never told about the package and then she disclosed to me that it was for a secured Master Card. I told her I did not want the package and wanted my money back, she gave me the name and number to their District Manager (Eric Johnson). She gave me the address also. I sent Mr. Johnson a letter stating that the funds were pulled from my account by telling me a lie and I want the funds returned to me.
I waited one week and called the number Mr. Clark had given me, the number is out of service. I have not heard from Mr. Johnson either. I filed a complaint with the FCCFBI Fraud site and am waiting to possibly hear something. I did save all of my records from the back as well.
As far as the name of the company is I am not sure I remember it. I know they deal with Master Cards.
