I called this company from a mailer I got, I figured I have some debt I need to have soaked up with my equity. I called, set it up and all the papers where sent to me, I signed them sent it back, got an under-bid appraisal of 62k on a 71k state appraisal house with interior and exterior improvements, I spent 10k on this house this first month living here how could it depreciate.
I called 2 days later and the gentleman said it sould close before the 1st weeks end in April... No calls I had to call the company to find out where I stood at the end of the following week, The rep. Said in so many word that I got denied the first attemp at the loan, but never really directed toward credit denial, and attempted another program, no pending information form CoreStar on my loan.
300.00 and 1 month further into debt with no calls as of today if I can consolidate, or if I am even approved. I might as well consider bankruptcy while I can. See the thing was I though I was going to be approved and was told the first loan was processed so I figured I could just wait on the payments then becasue they were going to be consolidated, not I am almost double as far into debt because of the lack of communication this company has with me. Also if I get denied credit I am supposed to get my 300.00 back, this may be a reason the company will not come forth and just tell me I am denied so at least I can have my 300.00 back.
My major and formost complaint is the under-appraisal, which the city of Sioux Falls would back me up on this. When I moved in here I paid for a survey and got a returned appraisal of 71,630 total asset value, total taxable asset. I am pending another survey appraisal by the city with the improvements I have made. I did recieve an esimated value against what I put into the house in the amount of 78-81 thousand.
I HOUSE WITH PROPER CARE NEVER DEPRECIATES, especially after little more than a year from the last apprasial.
This company is not a Bad business, they just have unusual practices, seemingly new programs for everything, slow communication, slightly preditory, have the highest closing cost I have ever seen, appraises homes very low and under taxed base.
