I am an attorney in Connecticut, and would like to offer some legal advice to those who feel they have been ripped off by CCCC, or by any other phony "credit card" company.in addition to the legal remedies cited by previous reporters, there are a number of others available to us (yes, I too was foolish enough to fall for this scam...). The first is a civil remedy called a "class action" lawsuit, where EVERYONE who feels they have a legitimate claim can join in on one lawsuit. The upside to this is that the amount in damages settled on or awarded is high. The downsides are that it can take YEARS before class action suits come to disposition, and the lawyers (s) will take 25% - 30% of the settlement/award amount. The other remedy is to file a "theft by deception" complaint with the local prosecutor. This is a FELONY CRIMINAL charge!!! I hope this helps. Good luck!
