I met with Alan Cohen in a back room inside of a small private attorneys office in Woodlawn, MD. I was told that they could help me get out of debt and to help manage my debt. He claimed that they would provide professional financial counseling in the area of debt management.
I had to sign a agreement to pay for a twelve-month financial recovery service program. They withdrew hundreds of dollars from my account monthly and when I called to check on the status of my credit reports and what ever the current status was they weren't available. I left dozens of messages and they never contact me back. When I wanted to stop the service they wouldn't return my calls or they keep blowing me off.
So then I called the receptionist and she told me that my case worker no longer worked with the company and that someone else was handling my file, well I was never contacted by this new person, so I finally got to talk to the receptionist about cancelling my service and I had to write an email and they said that I couldn't get all my money back.
I am very upset about what this company stands for, they are very misleading and they are simply liars. I want to see them out of business and I want everyone to know about this sorry excuse for a company!!!
