Just like every one else my story is the same. Was contacted by spectra financial. With offer for a $2000 credit limit for a master card. And i has to pay $249 that they would debit out of my account. And as a fool i gave them all my info (ss#, account info even my drivers lic# info) she said they would debit the amount out on feb, 22.
But i had a funny feeling so went on google and type in spectra and to my surprise found out it was a fraud. So i then call them and tol them what i found out and she told me it was no fraud, i still was not satisfied so i went to my bank (thank god its just across the street) and told them what was going on and they stop payment on the amount and i told them the name of the sceemers, and since its probally not the real name they told me that they would keep a eye om my account for any out of state debits for me which is kind of good.
But as of today (feb, 23.2005 they have not tryed to debit my account. And i did call they and told her that i closed my account and that i would not give them my account untill they could give send me out some info and she refused to so told her that her company was fraud and i am reporting them and she then hung up the phone they have to be stopped.
