I recieved an authorized debit transaction to my credit card from a company calling themselves My Perfect Credit. The amount of the transaction was $9.95. When I called the telephone number that was next to their name on my credit card bill I was told that I was speaking with a remote answering center location, and that a message would be passed to the company. I was told that I would have to apply for a refund of my money. When I refused to apply for my refund I explained to them that I never authorized anything or joined any membership.
They told me the only choice I had was to answer an email that was automatically sent to my email address when I called in, and that the email would contain a request for termination of membership and application for refund. I was told that I would have to email their support at [email protected] to take any other action. I have not yet received anything, automatic or otherwise from this company. They will not explain how my account information was accessed and maintain that I requested their services and just somehow misunderstood that I would be charged after a trial period.
I do not even know who this company is, nor have I requested any information, trial memberships, or other services from them. I have no need for any credit-repair services (as they claim to be). They have not answered my requests for refund or explaination. I am left to assume that they have been a party in conducting a fraudulent transaction on my personal account. This company should be regarded with caution!
