Employees steal checks from borrowers to pay their own bills! Employee inside information

Here is something that MANY Ameriquest employees have done to borrowers.

This scam has been rampant since they went to "centralized title". Their new "in house" title company is called MIS.

When the loan is funded from Ameriquest to MIS, MIS disburses the funds to the mortgage, cuts the checks to the previous mortgage companies and the creditors listed on the HUD-1, and mails the checks to the Account Executive. The account executive recieves the checks, pockets one of the checks and mails it to his own credit card! For instance, if this is what the HUD looks like-

XYZ Mortgage...$132,000
Discover Card...$4,321
Mastercard...$2,391
Sears...$3,219
Visa...$4,213

When the AE recieves the checks, he pockets the discover card check, then mails it to his own creditor by writing his account number on it. If he has a zero balance, the credit card company refunds him in CASH!!!

This new scam has been RAMPANT since ameriquest started doing their own in house title. MIS knows about the problem, and has done nothing to curb it. MIS charges more than any other title company. They are skyrocketing charges to the borrower. They charge $150 to request a payoff! Most title companies do it for free!!!
