Thank you Very much for this site being created. Although my condolences do go out to those who got ripped off, it is you people who help others like myself.
I just recieved this scam in the mail today (February 11) and read through everything including the fine print. I then had my girlfriend look it up because she said it seemed to good to be true. She mentioned at one point while reading through the light blue fine print on the back that it may be a catalog card, but i didnt think much of it at the time.
She had told me not to send anything in till she checked everything out online... Thank God she found this site! I was also offered the 5000 dollar platinum card at 0% interest for 12 months. I being of no credit history was very excited because i thought that i could build credit this way... (i was turned down for every loan imaginable so you get an idea of how new my credit is) but thank you very much to the creators and contributers to this site i appreciate this i will also keep this site in mind for future references.
