I did some research of my own seeming that they are reporting bogus information on my wifes credit report. I already sent a Debt validation letter (required under FCRA)!

But why bother? Just take it too the CRA's who are not doing there job in accurately investigating this on your report. It is considered "willful non-compliance" and is a "slam dunk" in small claims fines penalties $XX, XXX. XX, etc.

mental distress
Violation under FCRA STATE & LOCAL GOVERNMENTS
COLLECTION AGENCIES CAN BE SUED AS WELL
I could go on... Make sure you document EVERYTHING before going to court (if you don't get immediate results). I will keep ya posted as I'm about to take every available legal option under my rights under the FCRA. I'll keep ya posted!
