I have banked with HSBC for about 20 years, most of that time as a premier customer, at their invitation, until this year I have not had a problem... They have downgraded me from Premier, not as issue, but to cancel, first my debit card and then a credit card without notice is a step too far. The whole thing started when I attempted to purchase euros on line with my debit card, they stopped the card refused payment and I had to go into my local branch to prove my identity... This was done, then the downgrade... Then 2 cancelled cards, one credit and one debit card... I am currently waiting for a new debit card as the last was cancelled as they said it had been frauduently used, then when I wanted to persue it they said it hadn't. This has been the final straw as soon as I return from holiday I will be closing all my accounts with this useless organisation
