What a day I had fighting with American Express. My card had plenty of open credit. I wanted to take $100 cash advance. They told me that was fine. They gave me a new pin. I tried the pin and it didn't work on the card. They emailed me another pin. Didn't work. They asked me what pin I wanted. I told them it didn't work. While this was happening, they lowered my credit and my available cash. They could no longer reset my pin on the card for the $100 withdrawal and said I had to wait 90 days for a new pin. They cut me off from all my available cash/credit due to their mistake. They are a bunch of idiots. They lowered my credit because they said I had too much debt. I'm guessing since I just sent them a payment of $2,000 they figured I was now a risk. Amazing. Their customer care doesn't care about anyone, they don't care what you have to say, they don't listen to what you have to say and they interrupt when you are talking. They give you people from India on the phone and you can't understand them (I guess they figure I'm a racist) now. I plan on getting rid of this card ASAP. I wrote to Costco asking them to please adopt a different credit card for their company. American Express stinks.
