My wife and I have been dealing with Fairbanks aka Select Portfolio Services for well over 3 years now.
They attempted to foreclose on our house because of the equity in it and we fought them the entire way. When it came down to actually going to court, Fairbanks withdrew their forclosure actions.
We've disputed the way our payments are applied, the misc. Charges, the attorney charges and all the other charges they've applied to our loan. They came back after 7 months of an "in house" investigation pounding their chests claiming to be right and we are wrong.
It's now been 15 months since we've made a payment and now they are threatening us with another foreclosure action. We have the money for the monthly payments that we are behind but we refuse to pay the "extra charges" that have been applied. Until I know that my payment will be applied towards the principal and interest part of my loan and not towards some bogus made up charges, no one gets paid.
We looking for anyone that wants to get involved in a class action lawsuit We're sick and tired of being told by our governing officials that there is nothing that can be done to stop these crooks.
We are very serious about this and are looking for serious people to get involved.
