I have been making online payments for years never late never over the limit.
In August I was unable to log on to the providian web site in the 8 days leading up to my payment date. I called Providian and ask if I could make my payment over the phone so that it would not be late.
I was told that the did not accept phone payments, that the would only accept mailed payments or online payments.
I ask if there were any other options and was told no and then was hung up on. I got back on line and tried again and again on several different computers and different times of the day.
I call providian again and told them my problem and wanted to make a payment, They we still no help and I was told no phone payments and no Western Union payments.
I ask for some help was told just mail your payment, I advised them that if i mailed the payment it would be late. I was so what at least will have your payment.
The day after may payment was due the web site was accesiable.
So I mad my payment. Then I was charged a late fee and an over the limit fee due to the late charge.
I have tried to fix the problem by sending letters, copies of web access not available and phone calls noting helps.
Now I have been charged more fees and have received phone calls every day. They start calling at 8am and call every hour untill 9pm. I refuse to pay the extra fees.
I send in my payment but they still add fees.
