In November I recieved a unexpected card from CCA First National, I was soooo excited because this was my first credit card, so I thought. Attched to the card is this long letter in bold print stating that it is a Urgent-Approved and that I have a $6500 credit limit.
I am a youth and having this king of money on this card was a dream. Lol. I called right away and they took some information and then they asked me if I had a checking account and I said no. If I did I was not going to give that information away.
After so called activating the card I then realized that is was not a major credit card because of the no Visa, Mastercard logo.
I then saw that they want to charge $100 per year for membership. CRAZY!!!
I also realized that they didnt ask for a SSN #. Another red flag was on the back of the card the black strip was so high on the card that it made the card itself look odd.
Then I contacted the company again and I asked what am I supposed to use this card, she said for our catalog. I said I dont have one, she said call 702-734-1212 for a catalog, but that was a recording telling me about the card itself, then hangs up.
I call the company back and say I was to disconnect my card, she (Joyce Jackson) says the card was never activated. Then I looked up on the internet to find out the website but it is nothing but a blank page. And I kept scrolling down yahoo search engine then I saw a rip off report @ usacomplaints.com and was glad to know that I did not give out my checking account number to the phony company.
DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! There is a guy @ usacomplaints.com who was an example for giving up his account number to them and having hundreds taken out of his account.
I thank websites such as usacomplaints.com for help that can save millions of people from sharks.
