I am sorry to admit that I was successfully scammed. I had to file bankruptcy 2 years ago & I have been trying to re-build my credit again very hard. I am a single working parent trying dilligently to raise my 6 year old son. They offered me a wonderful credit line of up to $75,000 for an activation fee of $149.95. I thought, "Wow. What a great deal!" Once I got what I thought was going to be a credit card, I started reading the materials sent to me with the card, & discovered that it could only be used shopping on-line at www.usashoppingclub.com.
I tried going on line to see what kinds of things they offered & if I was interested in any of it. That is when I came across this wonderful & very infomative web site. THANK YOU!!! It has been almost 60 days, according to the letter that I received stating the activation date, & I cannot begin to find the words to express my gratitude for the infomation that I read from you all. I really feel like I was duped & definately taken advantage of. Hopefully this little (BIG-actully) mistake will not destroy my credit that I am trying so hard to re-build. I am extremely gullible, as I was raised in the era of "do unto others..." Hopefully I will be able to stop the rip-off company before they completely drain my bank account, & give out all of my banking information to other scam artists. Be careful of anything that sounds too good to be true, as it usually is.
