Let me start by saying I have a more accurate list of details, of complaint dates to Central Support and Savings, and the first names of the people I spoke with, that I do not currently have with me. I am entering this on a computer at a friend's house who encouraged me to do this.
I received a phone call back in the beginning of Sept.'04 offering me a $2000 credit limit mastercard for a fee of $299. When I was reluctant to agree, the female rep said I would be getting the money right back when I got the card in 10-15 days and could do a cash advance. So I agreed, and the $299 debit came out of my account on 9/15/04.
10-15 days later, what I received was not a credit card, but an application for a credit card. I was hurting to have the money back and called for a refund, but they said "No Refunds" (I spoke to a man named Graham). So I decided to just apply as quick as I could and wait for the card. When the card came, it was NOT a $2000 credit limit mastercard, but instead, a prepaid debit mastercard that I had to load money onto!
There was no money loaded on the card yet so I couldn't do a cash advance to get my money back. I called and complained again (not sure of date right now), they would not let me speak to someone in charge, and still would not grant a refund. I said I would go after them with the big dogs. I went online and saw the 20 reports on usacomplaints.com of the same thing happening to other people over the past few months.
I would like this company, Central Support and Savings, to be shut down and prosecuted for deceptive business practices, and for everyone that was ripped off by them like I was to be refunded their $299.00. This company is clearly operating a scam.
