CCA First National Card
Ripoff

I was so excited to see that I had finally been aproved for a credit card b/c I have just gotten engaged and am trying to fix my credit. First thing I noticed though was that there was no Visa, Mastercard logo. It made me wonder but it looked so official so I called to activate the card anyhow. Luckily though my fiance read the letter stating that I had to pay $299 to activate. He made me hang up immediately.

There were a few 1 (800) numbers on the card, so I tried calling all of them. A red flag went up when after calling all the numbers I realized that there was no way to speek to a live person as well as there were no other options besides activation when I called. I kept the card in my purse for about a week or so and finally decided to go on-line and see what info I could find. Thanks to consumer complaints and my fiance, I avoided getting ripped-off.

I shredded the card already but when I called my mom, a supervisor at the Torrance, Ca post office, she said to save the envelope the card came in and to send it to postal inspection. You should call your local post office and ask them for the phone number and address of the postal inspection office in you county. The post office will help to make sure that letters from the return address not be delivered anymore!

Let's help keep these people out of business by doing all we can to prevent them from getting these letters and cards out.

Thank you
