I received a call from First Link Benefits stating that they would help me rebuilt my credit. The also informed me that I receive several items for my participation in their program. I should have known it was too good to be true. They promissed me a new credit card - instantly, a new computer instantly, grocery coupons instantly, 3 day vacation instantly and so on. All of this cost me $379.00. I was sold. Nevertheless when i received my package from First Link Benefits, the only thing in the package were COUPONS for a credit, a computer, vacation etc. All of the items requested more money. It was sad.
I'm not sure what i paid the $379.00 for - i guess coupons. I had called them about 1 week prior to my package arriving, i asked CLEARLY - "when will my computer arrive?" they said within 10 business days. What they should have stated was my COMPUTER COUPON would arrive in 10 business days. Needless to say - i have an envelope full of coupons and First Link Benefits has my money. When i called to cancel the informed me that i could not cancel and i would not be getting my money back. This is a ripoff. I have also placed an ad in our local paper to inform people of this ripoff. I hope no one else goes thru what i experienced.
