Care credit - "promotion scam

I've had this card for 2 years now and never had a problem until this month!
I opened a card with credit care because my dog needed surgery that cost $3,000. I paid it off within a year and didn't manage to have a problem.
However, last year in March, I had to get surgery that cost $5,000.
Right now, it's the beginning of April. I was so close to paying off ;however, they charged me additional $1,200 for "promotion". Thats RIDICULOUS!!!
They don't explain this to people before signing up...
If I would of known, i would of just used my American Express...
Stay away from credit care!!!
