I can only begin To add to the previous complaints on the whole Compass bank Mayhem. Yes I have fought over NSF charges, and OVERDRAFT charges all of which they use at their choosen venture to ripoff our hard earned money. Customer support! Hah! Does not exsist! However they do have well rehearsed double talk Managers that would not last in my employee but milli seconds as I believe know one in the entire Compass orginazation could alone spell CUSTOMER SUPPORT alone define it. Alast enough ranting. I have gotten financial classes from these sorry employees of theirs on there creative accounting ways and rules which are simple! If we can find away to confuse the customer and never divulge the methodolgy the same way twice we can steal their (OUR) money! And they do. Now to my Point!
I asked my wife the other day as round 2 ended with Compass bank, Kingwood! If we have been getting re-imbursement for other bank ATM charges as there nationaly televised and Billboard add campaign Touts. She said well actually no! In five yrs not a dime returned! So I called customer support t get there explanation. 1st though I went and got copies of exsisting brochures as well as reviewed the originals from 5 yrs ago! Why? Answer coming!
Answer from compass bank: Sir have you not been saving your receipts and sending them in SASE to Atlanta? Well Mam no I have not as I did not know I worked here or was required to based on YES! All the literature you provide to me JOHN Q PUBLIC! Can you tell me where this information is represented for all to see. I looked and it was not on your billboard, brochures or TV ad's. Your new account rep did not inform me as to my duties neither.
Furthermore why would I do double duty of providing you INFORMATION you print monthly on my bank statement! Redundant do you think mam! Well I am sorry sir but you will need to provide receipt for ATM transaction before you get a refund. So I asked the dumb? Can my bank statements play the role of atm receipt since basic info is basically same. Nope! Must be original! I left her with this as I now seek legal counsel in hopes of class action suit. You advertise free ATM Anywhere! Correct Mrs. Bank Mgr.? Yes we do that it our claim to fame sir! Understand this then you Enron Flunky! 1. My Time to archive, keep, organize all these receipt and file your form! Not free My Time $500.00 per hour! My gas wear and tear to mailNot free! Lastly U.S. Postal Stamp, envelope not free Mrs. MORON MGR as you donot provide them! So who is right and who is wrong? You appear to be tilting closer to False Advertising and left over techniques from Enron Creative financing then I neglectful and doing what you are already providing me monthly in Bank Statement LESS MY REFUND! Lengthy i know but fact fact fact! MY only hope to keep from Going postal inthe BANK! Is for a Lawyer to see this and we can all particapate in CLASS ACTION SUIT then Buy Compass Bank And fire all of them!!! SIGNED RIPOFFED BY COMPASS BANK AND PISSED
