Had homeowners insurance with AFI for 6 years, they did a review, decided they didn't want to cover my house in New Orleans and dropped my coverage after 6 years of premiums and no claims. They state that they are a membership driven organization, but not really, I've had better luck with mainstream insurance companies. This is one of those organizations that slap Armed Forces or Military in their name to make them look good, but it's all for show.
