I was called in early October asking if I wanted to receive a Visa or Mastercard with a 2000$ limit for 299$. At first I said no, but then I was told there would be no interest for 1 year and medical and prescription benefits. I finally ok'd the transaction and had the money taken out of my account on October 11. I was told my package would arrive in 15-20 business days.
When it didn't arrive, I called and was told that it would be there on November 11th, then I would have to sign a sheet and send it back and my card would be activated. I told him that I didn't understand why the process was taking so long, and that I wanted a supervisor to call me back. He assured me a supervisor would call back that evening. No one called.
I called back on November 15, and explained my situation once again. Noting that I still had not received my package. The guy I spoke to knew nothing about a mastercard and explained that this was for a benefits package, not a credit card. I told him what I'd been told, and he replayed my conversation back for me when I first purchased the card, and most of the conversation was missing, making it seem as if I was purchasing a benefits package and not a credit card.
I told him I wanted my money back immediately, and he said that there was nothing he could do, and that a supervisor would call me back on November 16th between 5 and 7pm (tomorrow). I then asked for the name of the company and address and looked it up online and found this.
