I received an offer for a "credit card" with a $15K credit limit and 0% intro rate. For a $43.00 you can have rush processing.
It was Christmas time and I was in need of some cash or credit and I fell for it.
The rush process took about 5 weeks after they cashed my check. I'd called a direct # that was in directory assistance but only got a recording saying you would receive your card within 14 business days for rush processing. Since Christmas had come and gone I figured I'd just wait on it.
I just received my "Gold Card" along with a catalog and order forms. This is not a CREDIT CARD as you are led to believe in the form mailed to you. You can only use this card to purchase from the said catalog.
I am in the process of returning the card and packet. I am also going to ask for a refund of my $43.00 since they exceeded the 14 business days and since it is not a "credit card".
No matter how bad your situation is - Do not fall for this scam like I did!
