I've had good and poor experiences with Cost Cutters. Some of the sylists really like chopping off a lot of hair, some are into taking short cuts, and others really know their stuff. I've actually had a woman use one of those hair thinning scissors on me in order to save time before and I absolutely hated the texture of it. I've had great haircuts when I've gone there in the past, but I would never trust them with anything important — like highlights, perms, straightening, etc. Go to a real salon for that sort of stuff. To me Cost Cutters is meant for cheap haircuts and that's it. If you're not overly worried about length or them taking off too much, then go for it, but if you're picky about your hair then fork over the extra money and go to a salon with more experienced stylists.
