I had been very happy with Ulta 's Salon until today! I got a perm on Oct. 10th and loved it. I waited two days to wash my hair so the perm would hold then washed it again after 2 more days and 75% of the perm is gone. Of course, I was upset so I went back into the salon on Oct. 17th. To show the stylist my hair because I wanted to see what could be done! She wasn't really sure what happened... She gave me a deep conditioning treatment because it was a little dry but it did not help the lack of curly hair!!! I suggested that she trim my hair but she didn't think that would help, but I thought it would. So she said she couldn't do anything else today. She suggested that we wait a week and maybe she could reperm my hair in a week. The top part of my hair was straight the middle was curly and the bottom 1/2 inch was totally straight. Really!!! If I was going to sit at home for a whole week but I have to work like most people do these days... She reluctantly said she could refund me my money and I said Yes!!! I got my refund of $80 and left looking and feeling terrible. Fortunately I went to an awesome place called The Art of Hair, walked in told the receptionist what happened at Ulta! She got a wonderful stylist and she took me right away! I told her what happened, she agreed that a trim would help and that's exactly what she did for me! She gave me a trim and my hair looks 100 times better! It made the perm come back a little more, it's not perfect but it looks a whole lot better and I feel a lot better too!!!
