I've bought a couple of Groupon daily deals in the past and the transactions were successful.
This lulled me into a false sense of security and I trusted that the deals were genuine and value for money.
At the beginning of November I purchased two gas boiler services and six weeks later have had no response from the merchant offering the deal, or any help whatsoever from Groupon.
They totally ignore any e-mails sent, I can't find a telephone number to speak to a real person and am no closer to getting a refund which I've asked for on a weekly basis.
Another deal they offered was supposed to go "live" last Saturday and while I still had faith, I bought that one too and again have received nothing, no contact from the merchant, Groupon totally ignoring any complaint or request for a refund.
I warn everyone to beware of Groupon and avoid their daily deals and not to hope that Groupon will make any effort to resolve any problems.
