I had been wearing wigs but decided that I should get a perm even though they are more expensive than I wanted to pay. I decided to go to Fantastic Sams. I asked for a curly perm, told the beautician I had color on my hair and that it curled easily. I thought she was leaving it on a long time but I figured she knew what she was doing. She put a real stiff mousse' on it and I didn't think it looked right. It felt stiff so I went home and looked at it real good. It was horrible! It was totally fried. It wasn't curly, there was some wave, if you want to call it that. I went back the next day and showed it to another girl that works there since the one that did my hair wasn't there. She agreed it wasn't curly and trimmed it for me. I asked if I could get my money back and she said NO. She said to come back and see Hannah, the one that did my hair. I waited my 48 hours and then shampooed but I could see it was burned. I went back in that day to talk to Hannah There was no smile, no apology: in fact her and 2 other girls there were trying to com up with reasons it was my fault. I was humiliated. I am 63 years old. I don't try to cheat people and am so disappointed in how they handled this.
