Purchased Groupon ’s offer housecleaning service (from Supreme Impressions) promising 3 people x 2 hour.
Few months later, scheduled cleaning and specifically asked for Patricia @ Supreme Impressions whether 3 people x 2 hours OR 2 cleaners x 3 hours. Patricia confirmed 3 people x 2 hours.
Scheduled cleaning and I missed half-day of work. Tidied rooms, cleared floor for cleaning, collected all cleaning products for their use. Cleaners did NOT SHOW. Called Supreme Impressions after waiting 20 minutes and Patricia claimed scheduling error on my part.
Resheduled and missed another half-day of work – after tidying house, clearing floor, collecting cleaning products. Cleaners arrived – but with only 2 people. I asked if they extending appt to three hours, to ensure advertised 6 hours of labor. “NO.” Claimed Supreme Impressions had advised Groupon of change in advertised services – and I should have received an e-mail. Please confirm if vendor is correct; I received no such notice.
I rejected the services.
The purchase amount was reimbursed to credit card. But since vendor NEVER INTENDED to provide services promised – by their own claim of advising Groupon, and their arriving with inadequate staff, I want compensation for 2 afternoons missed work due to fraudulent advertising by Groupon or Supreme Impressions.
