I despise Club Fitness with a passion. I am completely dumbfounded by their lack of help or understanding for their members. I have been a member of Club Fitness for over a year. I started out as a member at the Rock Hill Club location which was located by the Blockbuster at Kortwright and Manchester. When I joined, Josh Aichs was the General Manager. He was a wonderful manager in my opinion... Helpful and friendly... Always welcoming. Rock Hill Club Fitness has since moved to a new location next to the Steinmart on Manchester. Josh left this location because he had been abused daily by his Manager Greg Cenatimepo and therefore relocated to the Webster Groves location. Rock Hill Club Fitness is now under new management Jason Washington and Scott Riley... These are horrible managers. Mean, unfriendly and extremely unhelpful people. Jason wears a constant frown on his face. I have heard many of the Rock Hill trainers talk about him as being rude and pathetic as a manager and I absolutely agree. Scott is an ingenuine man who has no clue about customer service. The Rock Hill Club Fitness is a sad excuse for a gym. For over a year, I have worked as a full time nanny to my sister's first child. For nine months, I would bring her to Club Fitness in the mornings and put her in the nursery while I worked out. Her parents are also members of the club, so I saw no harm in using the nursery while she was in my care. Nine months later, Scott told me that I could no longer work out at the facility and put Madeline in the nursery because she is not my daughter. I asked what I could do to continue to work out while Madeline was in my care. I was told that because I am not her parent or legal guardian that I could no longer work out at Club Fitness with her in my care. I have written a thousand letters pleading with Club Fitness to adjust their Child Care Policy. I asked the Board of Managers to reconsider. I contacted the owner of Club Fitness John Crocker, to ask for his help in adjusting the policy. He told us to contact him a week later at which point he refused to take our calls. John Crocker, you are a coward. I am writing to all potential Club Fitness members... Beware! If you would like to work out at Club Fitness and you are a nanny, step father, grandmother, aunt, while caring for a child while you work out, you will NOT be admitted. I would like to say that the trainers at Club Fitness are wonderful... Brent, Sason, Wes, Margie... You are wonderful people and are extremely good at what you do. You were one of the reasons I wanted to continue working out at Club Fitness. I will also miss all the friends that I made while I was there. Peggy, Mary, Christine, Ellen, Ashley, Terri, Sason... Thank you for your support! I am now in search of a better work out establishment. A place where the Managers actually care about their members needs, are friendly and strive to make their members happy. Club Fitness I give up... So long!
