My friend recently booked 4 x 30min treatments each for her and myself via Groupon. Like many others we too read the reviews that had been placed on this website and was a slightly put off at going to J2A, but we thought "No" we have paid we are going! We booked our appt for Friday 30.11.12, when the day came both my friend & I had, had terrible days at work, and we nearly didn't bother going as the Salon was a 30-40 minute drive from our homes, and we were too tired and generally couldn't be bothered, but we decided to go... And we are very glad we did!:) Upon arrival we were greeted by Jake (the owner) he was welcoming and friendly, though he was dealing with another customer in the hair salon, he still showed us enough attention and courtesy that we required to feel welcome. The salon is a nice, clean, well-presented, four floored end terraced house converted into a beauty / hair salon which was perfect, the people that worked there are very friendly and professional. A few moments later a lady came down from upstairs to greet us, apologized and explained that they were running slightly behind by 5 minutes, which we didn't mind as were a little early! When we were taken upstairs and asked what treatments we would like (like i said earlier we were booked in for 4 x 30mins treatments) we decided to change our minds and club them together for a full body massage and facial each. I have had quite a few full body massages in the past (due to intense gym training sessions and walking i do) and I have to say after the treatments were over, all my muscles knots in my shoulder, back and calf had gone... Just exactly what I needed! In addition to the various of hot or cold drinks we were offered, we were given a fresh scone (with jam & cream), small chocolate muffin, and a very delicious handful of fresh strawberries... My friend and I have both booked for us to go back in the New Year, paying the Salon direct this time! To those who are thinking of going for a beauty treatment at this salon, I can only you will not be disappointed!!!
