Having plenty of animal care experience or not, customers can clearly note that there may be an issue of improper care of a puppy at the pet store in the mall. The puppy was behind glass and in a tiny bare area also surrounded by glass, with no toys or bedding or even a blanket. It had food, water, and a litter box. The dog clearly looked unhappy and scared and laid down in front of me when I walked up to the glass to investigate. Having been in the store a week ago to look at the cute little critters that it had for sale, I was very disappointed when the store had no pets at that time. However, this week I was absolutely horrified when I saw the minimal conditions that the puppy was "living" in.
