Don't board your horse here!

"Poor quality care in a hateful environment" ought to be the motto of this stable. The barn owner fosters a mean girls atmosphere among both adults and children. She now requires a year contract. Why? Because her boarders leave the place en masse. You know a stable is bad if they have to lock you in for a year. Surprisingly, she kicked out one boarder, giving no reason for doing so, and despite having been paid for the last month in question, refused to feed the horse! Luckily the owner got the horse out quickly enough that it didn't suffer permanent harm. Then when I gave notice I was leaving, my horse was not given its meals! I would call the owner or get on the feeders' cases to get her fed which helped. Fortunately this barn owner was too cowardly to admit her cruelty and got my horse fed whenever I called, but come on! A supposed horse lover not feeding a horse under her care?! Especially when she has been paid in advance for the care in question! Also, the arena was worn out and extremely dusty. My horse had chronic bronchitis upon leaving that place due to the poor air quality. Imagine what is happening to your lungs too. She also releases the horses from their enclosed fields saying, and I quote: "It is a special priviledge!". Let me tell you, it was chaos when it was time to bring the horses in. Horses were running around everywhere, including the driveway that the cars use! My review is long overdue by a few years. I still regret not calling animal control on her with the blatent cruelty and neglect that went on. With any luck, things have improved, but I doubt it. Mean Girls don't change their stripes. Oh and don't let your daughter "learn" to ride here. Those kids were always falling off their horses. There was no supervision and rotten children were bullying the sweet ones.
