We purchased a dog from Michaele Atkinson of Gold Miles of Fallon, NV in early August. Two nights following we got our Golden Retriever we got her towards the vet to get a check-up to discover that she was sick with Coccidia and Giardia. Though these organisms are extremely typical among puppies, there's no means she'd have now been displaying signs (i.E. Watery diarrhea) inside the 2ND day-we introduced her home. Michaele had offered us a sick dog. She informed us among the puppies consumed contaminated water and had Coccidia but had been handled. We did not recognize at that time when one dog within the kitten gets Coccidia, all of the period all the puppies can get it. Well, with all that said, we approached Michaele and he or she advised us that she'd pay people for almost any vet expenses that was excellent since we believed she had been an extremely responsible breeder. It's now been a few months with numerous telephone calls, e-mails, along with a page created to her we've not gotten something. We recognize since when you buy the dog of course if she never closed documents stating they're health assure that no motion must be studied upon the breeder, it's simply the very fact of the problem that she informed us she'd purchase the vet expenses. We're currently $400 in vet expenses, and $500 for that purchase of the dog, we may aswell of purchased a puppy elsewhere for $1000 with health assurance and documents.
Meanwhile, we've not observed our puppies documents both. Michaele did sign remembering she'd deliver people documents once she obtained them within the email. After numerous telephone calls, we've not obtained any documents in the AKC.
At the moment, we've recognized our telephone calls aren't likely to support get people what we would like and we will probably never notice her documents or even the compensation cash on her vet expenses. We're ok with that. We enjoy our dog a great deal to provide her up at this time but when we'd recognized in advance this breeder isn't really trustworthy we'd decided to obtain a dog elsewhere. I did so study online before investing in a dog from Golden Miles and not noticed any grievances or poor evaluations so we thought she was a secure breeder.
I truly want we did not need to fall for this when I am an extremely relaxing individual, but don't enjoy being scammed. The client service-we obtained from Michaele was excellent at the start however now that she obtained cash from us she wont answer some of our telephone calls. You need to be conscious before considering obtaining a dog at Golden Acres.
