I purchased a Goldendoodle from purebredbreeders.com in May. I thought I did all the necessary research prior to purchasing our newest family member, thought being the word! I wish I had seen this website first!
I requested photos of both parents prior to purchase and also a conference call with the breeder. I was NOT allowed to contact the breeder directly and was interrupted several times by the purebredbreeders rep. Based on the beautiful pictures of the parents that we were provided, we purchased our puppy.
At his first visit to the vet I was told he was very underweight, and lethargic. He was only 6 pounds at nearly 10 weeks old.
I contacted purebredbreeders and every question was answered rudely and condescendingly. They then sent pictures again to my email of the parents. The photos were NOT the photos originally sent to me! Originally I received photos of a Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle that looked to be show quality, and the mother was a beautiful golden color. The actual mother is red and skinny! Now what? Well now my calls are ignored or when answered the response is again rude. No one will give a direct answer. I have a puppy that I bought because they lied! They sent photos of beautiful dogs in order to make a sale, I was scammed!
DO NOT EVER use these people to buy a dog! They have no regard for animals, they are all about making money! They will do anything to make a sale! They know once you have your new baby you will not want to return him and they abuse that! I have had better service when buying furniture, and this is an animal, living and breathing.
I don't know if the breeder who sent the puppy is aware of what is happening. I would hope that if they are really a genuine caring breeder they would not do business with purebredbreeders.
