I contacted Windrock Greyhounds about purchasing a Greyhound puppy. I was referred to them as breeders by the Greyhound Club of America. I first want to thank AKC clubs for providing a contact service to reputable breeders for consumers.
A puppy was not immediately available from Windrock but I was impressed with the passion and dedication that the Fritzlers had for their greyhounds-so I was willing to wait. While I was waiting for my puppy to be born, Windrock kept in touch and sent me all kinds of informative articles and suggested reading material. With all of this education, I KNEW I was going to be a great home for my new arrival. When the long awaited day came, I flew to Colorado to pick up my puppy. I wanted to see for myself how my puppy had been raised, not that I had any doubts, but it was important to me to know. What a beautiful farm these dogs live on. Huge pastures to play in and these dogs eat better than many people. And not only did I get to see the wonderful and loving mother to my puppy, but his famous Dad from Italy! These people really do have a first rate establishment and it is obvious that the dogs don't want for anything.
I stayed for a whole day at Windrock and Kim F. Had even more information for me and went over everything with me. My puppy was microchiped and already leash broke. (was my vet IMPRESSED!) and Kim didn't mind that I wanted to rename my boy`Jordon`.in fact, she showed me many tips to make the transition to his new name easy.
I came away from Windrock with my new baby knowing the long wait for my puppy was well worth it. Not only did I get a quality puppy with lifetime guarantees, but I have lifetime support of true and caring experts.
I strongly recommend Windrock and Colin and Kim Fritzler to anyone who wants a greyhound to love.
