I received two cats on 3-28-09 from Angel Rescue in Chase, MI. I had the first one tested on 3-30-09 and it was Positive for Feline Leukemia. I had it euthanized rather than return it to a place that was filthy and unkept. I just had the second cat, a little tiger cat tested today and it is also positive for feline leukemia. I am not going to have it euthanized yet, will try my best to treat it and keep it alive.
I am furious. Nichol told me I could have returned the first one and they would have quantined it, but where, in that filthy barn where there are at least 30 to 50 other unkept cats, maybe in a cage. Where big dogs are running around and her husband doesn't even answer the door and has the TV so loud that he can't even hear the door bell and the little 5 yr old girl comes down and explains that they feed sour milk to all the cats because they like it. And dog even ate the kittens of one female, because why, he just likes to eat cats.
If this is a rescue operation, what do you mean?
I am going to report this operation to the Attorney General. Why would anybody donate to an operation that has no better control. I realize people drop off cats and dogs, but you don't adopt them out to people who want cats and dogs and have to pay. They should be tested before sending them out to people who just want to have a pet and want to rescue a poor little kitty or dog that needs a home.
Yah, you claim to have some kind of veteniniary services, but I heard from my vet today that you are operating an illegal operation. You are using vet services that are not qualified and giving out drugs that are not legal. And that you are planning some kind of clinic or building to promote your operation.
You have crossed the wrong person. I am 78 years old and I have had pets all my life and have never come across anything like this.
I know you damn crooks can figure out some way to get around all this and sucker people who really love pets to give in to you just for a sake of a lovable cat or dog. You get money and donations from the unsuscitible people who don't get wise to you.
I am going to copy this message and send it to all the Michigan Rescue Operations and to all the USA RESCUE OPERATIONS, if it takes me the rest of my life.
You play on the people who are suffering from lost pets, like myself.
My very bests cats and dogs were given to me by animal lovers. I didn't have to pay, but that is not my Bitch. I was willing to pay, but not for sick and inferior animals.
My littelist kitty who has now been diagnosed with Leukemia is going to get the best care than he can get in spite of your neglect.
Angel Rescue say they can't afford Leukemia testing, well then why do you leave it up to the person who wants a kitty to have to pay, when they just received two kittys that have it.
