I was at the Antelope California Wal-Mart on 5/28. My fiancé and her grandma were looking for flowers for graduation that was to take place the next day. So I went to look at electrons. There was an African-American man looking at the Wii. When I waked by him he asked me how you play this. I did not know because I have never really played a Wii. The man had on a very big and puffy black jacket. I did think anything of it so when I was done looking at electrons I went to go meet my fiancé and her grandma in the floral section. When I found them my fiancé said this guy keeps looking at us and is looking at the exits and it looks like he is trying to find a way out. I looked and it was the same man. I told her I had seen him in electrons earlier. When I looked over at him he was checking out the exit. He then grabbed a random lawn chair and took it into the corner where no one could see him. So my fiancé decide that I should tell an employee because the guy was acting suspicious. I found an employee and he got another employee and he asked me if he has a big coat and white shoes. Before I could really answer he came out. The employees said he is security. I went to apologies to the man. The security guy makes a reference that I was trying to get him in trouble because he was black. I don’t remember the exact words but it was something like “trying to get a black man in trouble.” I apologies for the miss understanding it just looked suspicious. He said, it happens all the time. I was embarrassed because I am not a racist. I would have told on white, Hispanic, or Asian. My father owns a business I know how stealing hurts companies. I don’t appreciate being called a racist so now if I see anyone stealing anything at Wal-Mart I will not say anything for fear of being called a racist. They should not have hired a racist person he should not be dressed like a thug and he should identify himself before looking at the emergency exits it looks bad and suspicious. I don’t care that Wal-Mart has secret security I just didn’t like how he acted. I will never shop at that Wal-Mart again.By the way he left the lawn chair in the middle of the isle in the floral section.
