I purchased a Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill in December as a Christmas gift so it was not used until Dec. 25.in February the belt that you run on had to be replaced.By the time the belt was shipped to me and a service technician was able to install the new belt I was not able to use the machine for a month. Today (1/20/09) it stopped working. I called customer service and was told I needed a new computer board - the green think all the wires go into - and that I would have to pay for it and the labor because the machine is out of warranty. I stated that it should be covered as I lost a month of use due to the belt replacement. The Bowflex agent said NO, because it was a different service issue. I fail to see what difference that makes! The point is because of the defective belt I did not get a year's use, thus the warranty should cover the repair.
Thank you,
