I am not angry with FedEx, but I am so irate with this particular delivery driver that I had to leave a review somewhere, anywhere. I live in an apartment and ordered a large TV, and I was really looking forward to having some help getting it up the stairs. However, he knocked on my door and, I kid you not, must have left immediately. I answered 10-15 seconds later because I was expecting him, and he hightailed it away. He clearly did not want to help haul it up the stairs.
So I grabbed my keys, put on my shoes, and drove to the apartment office where he was unloading my package. I caught him before he had even gotten in the door. The management knows me, and we all asked him to help me get it at least to my car. He looked furious. I was frankly surprised and a bit scared. As a 20-year-old girl, I was hoping he would at least offer to help me a little. But instead he helped me load it halfway into the car, smacking my head with the box in the process, and left before it had gotten all the way in.
I had a rough time getting it up the stairs on my own because he had torn up the handles beforehand. There are plenty of words I could have used, but I will just say this man was a jerk. I wish I could leave a review on him as an individual, but this will have to quell my anger. My head still hurts over half an hour later. Not what I would call good service.
