I received a notice from Allstate that my auto insurance will not be renewed. I was an Allstate customer for over 20 years, with auto, life, and home insurance. I had 4 accidents: 2 of them (according to them, my fault) and 2 no-fault. One of them was a fender bender (meaning no damage to either vehicle).
I still exchanged information with the other driver, and he made a claim for damages. Allstate did not notify me about it and paid over $400 to the claimant.
The second at-fault accident was in New York City. While I was parking on a two-way street, I was hit on the driver's side. The police, whom I called, decided that it was my fault, although I was the one who was struck on the side.
