Warranty Denied Fuel Pump Repair Days Before Coverage Expired

On October 10 after getting out of work my Chevrolet Tahoe would not start. After attempting different things to get it started I had to leave it overnight in my employers parking lot.

On October 11 just after 10am I had the Tahoe towed to Champion Chevrolet service department. Frank Botello informed me after an inspection that the fuel pump had low pressure and recommended replacement. They also found a leak in the a/c compressor and recommended replacement of that as well. Later that day Frank informed me that an inspector/adjuster from AutoNation Vehicle Protection/Vehicle Care Program (extended warranty company) would come to inspect the claims. Keep in mind that the said warranty expires on October 13.

On October 12 around 4:30pm Frank informed me that when the inspector turned the ignition on the Tahoe is started up every time, so the replacement/repair to the fuel pump was denied.
