I have written to Con Agra Foods on more than one occasion asking whether their canned products contain BPA plastic in the can liners. Their response is that they "believe it is safe." Many products "believed to be safe" have been recalled after years of serious illness and death.
I have pointed out to Con Agra that several studies exist which indicate there may be serious problems resulting from the use of BPA plastics in can liners. I will err on the side of caution and not use any Con Agra canned products.
My concern is for the millions who are unaware of this and may be damaged.
Will my request and dated concern be admissible in a class action lawsuit if/when damages are acknowledged?
