I was a faithful Allstate customer for 7.5 years, with eight houses insured by them. When we filed our first and only claim after 7.5 years, we were shocked to find out that we were not in good hands! It took Allstate 1.5 years to reimburse us for half of our claim, and it was a fight to get that. Talk about false advertising. The department of insurance needs to step in and shut them down. If you have Allstate insurance, run. Run as fast as you can. Do not wait until you need your insurance to find out whether they are going to take care of you. Do not learn the hard way like we did.
