Card charged $25.43 after domain registration declined at 50 cents

I tried to register a domain name for fifty cents. The site said it could not process my credit card after taking all my info. I was suspicious because there was no reason for a denial. I contacted my credit card company, and they did charge my account $25.43. I filed a fraud charge with the credit card company.
