I drove 45 miles in the snow to the Petco in Bellingham, WA. I was treated terribly at checkout by the cashier. You bet I got her name and employee number. I had a coupon code that she would not honor. She bullied and intimidated me in front of another lady she seemed more interested in than in me, the customer. You should have seen the look on her face, as if I were stupid, and the look she gave me as she came out of the store.
I will never shop at Petco. There were dead fish floating, the stock on hand was not there, and I waited 20 minutes before I even saw an employee. I felt like I was at a toy store, with everyone busy socializing and playing with each other. I should have gone to PetSmart, where quality is much more elegant and the customer is respected and treated with respect. Couponing is how I have to shop, sorry. I did not plan on being disabled. Maybe that is why I got bullied and intimidated; maybe I should have looked like her and her friend. This was the worst I have ever been treated, and the manager was not around, unless it was her. I will never go to Petco again. Let us see if I get a response; I bet not. This employee needs to grow up and realize that sometimes it is worth listening to the customer.
