No refund or replacement for dead saltwater fish or corals

I would say Petco will not refund any dead fish or corals, even if you spend a lot of money, and Petco cannot replace your purchase. So do not ever buy saltwater fish or corals from them. You will lose your money, because they cannot refund or replace them.
